How's their return policy? What if a DVD is faulty or I just don't like it after watching?

If it's faulty, you can definitely return it, that's pretty standard. If you just 'don't like it,' that might be tougher if it's already opened. Physical media usually has stricter return rules once unsealed.

They do allow returns, but for opened media, it often has to be because of a defect. If it's just 'not for you,' and you've broken the seal, I'm not sure they'd take it back unless it was truly unopened. Check their return info for details.

Shipping outside Germany can take a bit longer, I'd say anywhere from 2-4 weeks is probably realistic for the US. I ordered a few things to California once and it was about 3 weeks.

Yeah, I think their FAQ says something about international shipping times varying a lot, depending on customs and stuff. So def don't expect it super fast.

A lot of them are restored, especially the popular ones and Blu-ray versions. They mention it in the product descriptions if it's a new master or something.

It varies, but many are indeed digitally restored, especially the DEFA-Stiftung editions. You might find older transfers on some of the more obscure stuff though. Check the item details.

Yeah, they ship internationally for sure. I'm in Ireland and ordered last year. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, depends on weight and stuff. It wasn't crazy expensive though, if I remember right.
